Your First Session

Consultation and examination

The first visit typically lasts up to one hour. This includes a consultation and thorough exam to assess your overall health and spinal health with respect to the primary complaint. You will also receive the latest non-invasive insight scans. These help to show us exactly where you are on your health journey and how your nervous system is functioning.

Your INSIGHT scans

On your first appointment, and periodically through your care, your Chiropractor will monitor your overall Insight Score through a series of scans. The Insight Score indicates to us how healthy your body is, how well you are adapting and how much tension there is in your spinal muscles.

We have found that Chiropractic care improves how well people feel, how well they move and function; and to us, it is essential that we measure the underlying changes and improvements.

The scan does need to take readings from the skin on your back; gowns are provided to do this. 

Recommendations

Your Chiropractor will discuss and go through your findings from the visit, including your Insight Scans & Postural analysis. After that you will be given recommendations to what the best plan of care will be for you.

Due to the large amount of information that is gathered during the first session, we will recap on everything so that you fully understand what the Chiropractor is aiming to achieve with your spinal health. We want to make sure that you have been able to ask all the questions you need before starting Chiropractic care with us.

If there are no need for additonal tests to be done and it is safe to do so, you may recieve your first corrective adjustment at the end of your first session. This is down to the discretion of the chiroprctor.
